Sonu Nigam sells his BKC property for Rs 18 crore, earning a Rs 3.70 crore profit.

Singer Sonu Nigam has sold a commercial property in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for Rs 18 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The singer sold the 3,082 sq ft commercial space nearly three years after purchasing it for Rs 14.30 crore in November 2023.The latest Sonu Nigam property sale adds to the growing list of high-value commercial real estate transactions in Mumbai’s BKC, one of the city’s most sought-after business and financial districts.According to the property registration documents, Sonu Nigam sold the commercial space on September 4, 2026. SAA Estate LLP has been listed as the purchaser, while Sonu Nigam is mentioned as the seller in the registered transaction.The property is located on the ground floor of Trade Centre, opposite the MTNL Building in BKC, Bandra East, Mumbai. The commercial unit has a carpet area of 3,082 sq ft and was sold for a consideration of Rs 18 crore.The transaction also involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.08 crore. Two car parking spaces were included as part of the deal, according to the documents.

Sonu Nigam earns around Rs 3.70 crore on BKC property

Sonu Nigam had purchased the same commercial property for Rs 14.30 crore in November 2023. With the latest sale registered at Rs 18 crore, the singer has made a gross gain of approximately Rs 3.70 crore on the property before accounting for transaction-related costs, taxes and other expenses.Based on the recorded carpet area and the consideration value, the latest transaction works out to approximately Rs 58,404 per sq ft.

Kailash Kher also sold BKC office space

Interestingly, Sonu Nigam is not the only Bollywood or music personality to have recently sold commercial real estate in the same building. Singer Kailash Kher also sold his office space in the building on September 9, 2026, for Rs 10.50 crore.Kher had purchased the property for Rs 10.50 crore in November 2025. Unlike Sonu Nigam’s transaction, the Kailash Kher deal was reportedly executed at the same consideration value at which he had acquired the office space.

Sonu Nigam bought an office in Andheri West

Interestingly, Sonu Nigam had also made another commercial real estate investment in Mumbai just a month before the BKC transaction. In August 2026, the Bollywood singer purchased a 258.33 sq ft office space in Mumbai’s Andheri West for Rs 1 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.The transaction was registered on August 6, 2026, with Singular Health Private Limited listed as the seller and Sonu Agamkumar Nigam, the singer’s full name, recorded as the purchaser.The office unit is located in Sundervan Complex on Lokhandwala Road, Andheri West, and has a carpet area of 258.33 sq ft. Nigam paid a total consideration of Rs 1 crore for the commercial property.In addition to the purchase price, the transaction attracted Rs 6 lakh in stamp duty and a registration fee of Rs 30,000. The total disclosed transaction cost, including stamp duty and registration, stood at Rs 1.063 crore.Based on the consideration value, the Andheri West office deal works out to approximately Rs 38,710 per sq ft of carpet area.
