With the current trend, the film is being positioned to become the first movie in domestic box-office history to cross the USD 1 billion mark.

The record-breaking domestic run and the extraordinary international performance, helped 'Spider-Man: Brand New Da' to cross the USD 2.4 billion mark worldwide, making it the third-highest-grossing film in global box-office history, behind Avatar and Avengers: Endgame.The film hit the USD 2 billion milestone after just three weekends, becoming only the eighth film ever to enter the exclusive club at the time. It also became the second-fastest movie to reach USD 2 billion, behind 'Avengers: Endgame'.The film's run has been remarkable from the beginning. Sony CEO credits film’s emotional impact

We obviously hadn't forecast that.
